Summary / Introduction
This course follows the National Highway Sector Scheme 12D, focusing on installing and removing temporary traffic management on rural and urban roads.
Target Audience
The NHSS 12D M6 course targets Registered Traffic Management Operatives (RTMOs) who want to become Registered Lead Traffic Management Operatives (RLTMO) as outlined in Sector Scheme Document 12D.
Before enrolling in the T6 training course, learners must hold 12D M2 status.
Upon successful completion, learners will gain the competency to oversee M1/M2 work situations, as well as situations where they’ve demonstrated competency (M3 to M5).
Important note: The T6 training course cannot renew an expired M1/M2 skills registration. To enroll in T6 training or maintain M6 status, operatives must keep an in-date M2 skills registration card.
Refresher Course: Due to changes in the Code of Practice, learners must complete the revised (full) T6 training course to stay updated with new requirements. Note, on-site assessments aren’t required for refresher training.
